Revathi arranges a face-to-face ceremony for Nayan and asks Sam to behave himself in front of the media. Nayan comes downstairs wearing a different sari than the one chosen by Sam. Sam fumes seeing this. Nayan asks him if he looks good, this saree is better than the chosen one. Sam hugs her and says that she looks good in whatever she wears, that she will get a lot of changes to the selected dress. Nayan gets irritated. Revathi says that she is gifting Nayan with the most expensive diamond jewelry from her family collection. Sam indicates that the box is empty. Revathi is shocked and says that she had a diamond necklace. Sam tells her to relax, since she must have kept it somewhere. Nayan says that she will go upstairs to check and asks Malti to do the rituals until then.
He then meets Malti and apologizes to her. Malti’s bag falls and she drops a diamond necklace. Nayan approaches her and asks if he is alright. Revathi takes the necklace, says that it is the one she was talking about and accuses Malti of stealing it. Malti says that she doesn’t know how this necklace got into her bag. Revathi remembers putting the necklace in Malti’s bag and plans to humiliate Malti to take revenge on Nayan. She says that she knows that Malti is poor, but that she should not have stolen the necklace from her own daughter’s house. Nayan questions why she accuses her mother when she admits that she didn’t steal the necklace. Sam asks Revathi to stop humiliating her mother-in-law, he knows that his mother-in-law doesn’t even have proper food, he can give 10 of those necklaces to her mother-in-law. He urges Malti to accept her crime. Malti cries that she didn’t steal and someone is trying to catch her. Sam tells her to stop lying and admit it to her.
Nayan asks him to stop blaming his mother when he says that someone is trying to frame her and accuses Virat of conspiring against his mother. Revathi warns him to stop making false accusations and reminds him that Samrat married her despite her ugly appearance and her arrogant nature. Nayan goes on to describe how Samrat and Revathi tried to ruin the lives of Mohit and Ishani etc. and calls Samrat a monster who could never respect women. She comes in a woman and says that her husband is not a demon. The media question her if she really is the emperor’s wife. Lady says that she is Samrat’s ex-wife and when she found out about Samrat’s second marriage, she came to congratulate him. She asks the media to leave if they get the answer from her and give her some privacy. Revathi asks the servants to send the media and guests outside.
Sam gets mad at his ex-wife and asks why she’s here. Revathi says that they should leave Samrat and his ex-wife alone and take Seema away. Malti cries that so far no one has accused her of being a thief etc. and she worries about Nayan. Nayan asks her not to worry about him and sends her in a car. Just then, she sees Prem running towards a puppy and a speeding taxi coming towards him and yells at him to stop.
Precap: Samrat asks his ex-wife why she came. She asks about her son. He says that he won’t accept any random child as his son. She says that she knows he’ll say the same, so she brought the DNA report.
Prem tells Nayan that his father lives in this house and points to Sam.
