Saharapur. Geotagging of all urban elementary and high school elementary schools and the work done in them was carried out. Now officials can see the location of schools and other information from anywhere through the Prerna portal.
The total number of community schools in the district is 1,438, of which 51 schools are in the community area while the rest are in the countryside. General Director of School Education Abhiyan Vijay Kiran Anand ordered geotagging to be carried out in order to know the status of material resources in schools in rural and urban areas. It took three to four months to geotag 1438 schools. District coordinator Vaibhav Jaimini announced that all schools in the district have been geotagged. Geo-tagging uploaded additional information including photos of facilities in schools. Via the Prerna portal, only civil servants can view the location, status and facilities of the schools via their cell phones or laptops. It contains full information on the work done in the schools.

Geotagging includes the status of the school building, boundary wall, number of rooms, number of desks, construction of the main gate, power supply, whether the sweepers are coming or not, construction of the shed for baby food, operation under the Kayakalp. Work, school year, drinking water supply, status of interventions in the school, toilet, tiles, cement tank, hand washing system, kitchen, cooking utensils, liquefied gas, stove, condition of the cooks, painting of the school, smart information of the class, black board etc. was uploaded.
