Soni Singh, a forestry officer for social forestry, reached the spot with the team. Chetan Kumar and Rajiv Dhali, who were on the team, caught the crocodile after a fight lasting about 20 minutes. The forest inspector announced that the captured crocodile had been released in the Devha River near Bhara Pachpeda.
