Tundla (Firozabad). The drinking water problem in the city is worsening every day. There is a drinking water problem at almost every station. Some tube wells have stopped supply because of low water table and somewhere the supply is cut off by bursting drinking water pipes. Even so, the community does not provide supplies from four tanks in the city that were built by the Jal Nigam.
In order to supply Tundla Nagar with drinking water, it was divided into four zones. The east and west areas of Etah Road from Subhash Square and the east and west areas of Station Road from Subhash Square. In order to guarantee an uninterrupted drinking water supply in these four areas, four tanks were built by the Jal Nigam. Even so, the city’s residents face the problem of drinking water. Behind it, the supply from these tanks is limited to a limited area.
The stations are only supplied from the pipe wells installed earlier, but the pipe wells also cease to operate every year due to the falling groundwater level. Pipe wells in the colony of Shivpuri, Samrat Nagar, Radha Nagar, Mani ki Madhaiya, Panchvati Enclab, Surya Nagar, Sawale Prasad Road, Jain Gali, Baldev Road cannot guarantee an adequate drinking water supply due to the sinking groundwater level.
Poor quality pipeline
Tundla. People said that the pipeline for supplying drinking water from the tanks was inferior. NP Saxena, DP Singh, Dr. BP Poniya, Pushpendra Upadhyay, Sanjay Pachauri, Yatendra Verma, Pallav Moitra etc. had the pipes checked and asked to provide drinking water from the tanks.
Motor is installed in every house for drinking water
Tundla. The drinking water supply from pipe wells does not reach the houses directly. The pressure is so low that people have to pour water from pipes into the drains themselves. And most of the houses have engines. People use engines to transport water to their homes.
Drinking water is supplied from tanks in some areas, but in most places the pipelines have burst due to the pressure. The pipeline is blocked somewhere. So there is no supply. In view of the heat, the supply is currently provided by topping up the pipes from pipe wells. It also solves the problem by connecting all the pipe wells to the drinking water tanks.
