Panchayat District members will vote in the District Court at the Collectorate on Saturday from 11 a.m. The result will be announced after 3:00 p.m. after the votes have been counted. Preparations for the district panchayat elections continued throughout the day on Friday at the Collectorate. Strict security measures will be taken here during the elections.
30 Zilla Panchayat members in the district determine the chairmanship of the Zilla Panchayat President. You will arrive in the District Court courtroom at 11 a.m. to vote. Once identified, one Zilla Panchayat member after another will be allowed to vote. Voting papers are made available to them here. These ballot papers bear the signature and the seal of the election officer. The members have until 3 p.m. to vote. In the meantime, strict security measures are in place. In addition, barricades were erected and all gates were closed.
The members of Zilla Panchayat are only given the opportunity to vote after they have checked the electoral list with the election officer.
