Wheat Kharid Kendra Par Basuli Ki Sikhyat Sahi Mili – Complaint about recovery found directly at PCU center, DM rebuked

Jhansi administrative staff took action on Monday after complaints about irregularities in the wheat shopping centers before the prime minister. The district collector Andra Vamsi himself reached Garhmau Mandi. Here he took stock of the wheat shopping centers and asked the farmers about their problems. The mood of the DM was uprooted when the farmers’ restoration complaint was corrected. A complaint has been made at the PCF and PCU shopping center about the acceptance of additional money from farmers. The district judge spoke to the farmers who have sold wheat in the past. Farmer Har Narayan Singh said the center responsible took 40 rupees per quintal. The district judge reprimanded the relevant center and issued an ultimatum to the farmers who were illegally reclaiming the money and instructing them to return the money. The district judge ordered the wheat to be kept in the center of the camp immediately. Apart from that, the district judge also saw the ongoing purchase in Bhojla Mandi. He said the farmers should not be returned even after the day’s buying target is met. Here too, FCI and RFC shopping centers were checked.
Unable to provide information about the relevant RFC center to Santosh Upadhyay, the DM directed it to provide full details after the referral. According to deputy inspector Anup Kumar, around 20,000 quintals have been procured from 452 farmers so far. The payment should be 4.14 crores. So far, 3.79 crores have been paid. During that time, community commissioner Avnish Rai, additional community commissioner Shadab Aslam, assistant food controller Anup Kumar, secretary Mandi Pankaj Sharma, and others were present.
