Shahjahanpur. Due to the fluctuations in the air pressure for the last 24 hours, the weather continued to change throughout the day on Thursday. Since morning it was cloudy and there was a possibility of rain due to the cold wind blowing due to excess humidity, but after eight o’clock with the sun playing hide and seek from the clouds, the weather started heating up as the sun came out. After one o’clock in the afternoon, it rained for about half an hour with the clouds deepening. Due to this, people got some relief from the sultry heat, but after some time when the sun came out, the mercury started rising again with the increase in humidity.
After midnight on Wednesday, there was a change in the air pressure again, due to the thickening of the clouds, the minimum temperature also increased by about one degree to 24.4 degree Celsius, with the increase in the humidity in the night. There was a slight drizzle in the morning with cloud cover, then the humidity in the air increased from 54 to 90 percent. The weather remained pleasant till some time after sunrise in the morning, but later when the sun turned bright, life started getting disturbed due to the sultry heat.
By then the sky was covered with black and gray clouds due to the increase in the level of reduction in air pressure. At one o’clock in the afternoon, fine sprays like spray fell for some time and after that the sun came out, then the droplets from the scorching ground became steam and started creating humidity. People got some relief when the speed of drizzle increased. The day’s maximum temperature decreased by about two degrees Celsius due to rain for about half an hour, but later when the sun came out, the maximum temperature rose to 33 degrees Celsius.
According to Dr. Manmohan Singh, Meteorologist of the Sugarcane Research Council, there was not enough drizzle during the day to record the rain, but due to the increase in moisture in the air, the maximum temperature decreased by 0.5 degree compared to the previous day. He said that due to the drop in air pressure till evening, there is a possibility of slight rain on Friday.
