The hurricane Typhoon Infa attracted the monsoon winds. Because of this, the rain stopped for a few days. But this storm will quickly reach land from sea level. As soon as it hits the ground, its strength weakens and then it starts to rain. Dr. SN Sunil Pandey, who is in charge of the meteorological department at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA), said it would take two to three days to reach it. After that, south-westerly winds bring rain again. Dr. Pandey said the southwest humid winds intended to move towards the Himalayan Mountains were turned towards the South China Sea by the typhoon. Because of this, the rain stopped in the Kanpur region. He said cyclone typhoons were stronger on the ocean surface. As soon as it hits the ground, its strength decreases, then the wind direction changes and it rains.
