On Thursday, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya laid the foundation stone for a bridge over the Yamuna River and a four-lane road that connects Prayagraj with the Kosam Inam district of Kaushambi, the penitentiary of Tathagata Buddha.
The deputy CM said that Kaushambi had been declared a district during the tenure of the BSP government, but neither the BSP nor the SP government itself had made any significant effort to beautify the tapasthali.
The deputy prime minister said he was neither the chief nor the deputy CM for the district. I am a BJP worker and the son of Kaushambi. The district people sent a MP and three MLAs into the house. We are indebted to the public for this. Now is the time to repay that loan with interest.
When Sadar’s MLA asked for a large cow protection center to be set up in Kosam Inam, the deputy CM asked those present in the program. When the public answered yes in order to provide comprehensive cow protection, the deputy CM instructed the DM to prepare an action plan. The deputy CM said that many projects have been prepared for the development of the district. Kaushambi is included in the world’s tourist destinations.
This increases employment opportunities. All BJP workers and villagers including Sadar MLA Lal Bahadur, Chail MLA Sanjay Gupta, BJP District President Anita Tripathi, former District President Udayan Singh, Vikas aka Pintu Dwivedi, Akbar Singh, Neetu Choubey, Ganga Sharan Mishra were present on this occasion.
