Water Tank Will Be Built In 320 Gram Panchayats From 885 Crores

In the first phase, 885 crore water tanks will be built in these gram panchayats and a standing committee will be formed in the village itself for the operation of the tanks, which will be given honorarium and this committee Will solve problems. Five people will get permanent employment in every village. In such a situation, 1600 people will be employed. It is said that the path of development passes through villages. This time the government has allocated a budget of 885 crores for the construction of overhead tanks in 320 gram panchayats. The work of laying the tanks and pipeline has been given to Larsen & Turbo. A water tank will be constructed at a cost of one crore to four crores. 50 lakh to one crore rupees will be spent on laying the pipeline. The government will do the work of making water tank and laying the pipeline. For this, Village Capital Account will be opened. In this account, the government will give money, which will have to be paid to the Gram Panchayat itself. After this, another account will open for operation and maintenance. In this, those taking water connection will have to deposit 10% contribution. Along with this, for the operation of regular tanks, every material will have to be burnt so that there is no problem of drinking water. With this contribution, maintenance of tanks, repair of pipelines, caretaker’s honorarium will also be given. A five-member committee will solve drinking water problems in every village. For this, the responsibility of creating awareness has been given to five institutions including the Public Service Mission. Five people including care taker, electrician will be selected by this committee. All these will be on permanent employment and honorarium will be paid by the Gram Panchayat.
