Water recycling systems are being installed in the East Central Railway stagecoach works. This will stop the railways from wasting water. After other uses, including washing trains, water can be recycled and reused. LC Trivedi, general manager of the East Central Railway, instructed ECR officials to build the facility after inspecting the water recycling facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Recently, Lalit Chandra Trivedi, General Manager, East Central Railway, inspected the Indore water recycling facility. The capacity of this plant is 1.05 lakh liters of water per day. After returning from here, the officers were given instructions to install water recycling facilities in the coaching establishments. The treated water from this system is mainly used for washing and cleaning buses in the coaching depot. This saves water and it is also better from an environmental point of view.
