Jagadipuram Colony was settled at the eastern end of the city 20 years ago. Here teachers, lawyers and doctors bought land and built houses. The construction of the drainage in the colony is in progress. The soil extracted for the construction of the canal is kept on the road. During the rainy season, the ground on the road was soaked in mud. Because of this, the people who come to the colony have problems.
People of the colony like Anand Mishra, Sunil Mishra, Diwakar Choubey, Awadhesh Singh, Ramesh Tiwari, Naval Kishore Tripathi, Bhubaneshwar Tripathi etc. say the people of the colony from Tehsil down to district level officials and public officials have called for a solution B by sending letters of complaint, but no positive efforts have been made by the population of the colony to correct these problems. Due to the efforts of the municipal council, however, the construction of the drain for the drainage started about a month ago. If this work had started some time ago, people would not have faced such problems on rainy days.
