Water Collection Center Can Be Established In City


Lalitpur. Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel said that he is well aware of the problems faced by the district due to its proximity to Bundelkhand. Due to the high and low land here, small water harvesting centers can be built here. In this regard, he will soon discuss with the concerned officers. He had briefly reached the party office on Monday after a relative came here where he was received by the workers.
The Minister of State was welcomed at the BJP office under the leadership of District President Rajkumar Jain. During this, the District President said that there are maximum dams in the district, yet half of the district’s land remains irrigated. Sometimes due to erratic rains, crops are not able to grow and farmers reach the verge of starvation.
On this, the Union Minister said that due to the proximity of Bundelkhand, he is well aware of the problems here and due to the high and low land here, small water harvesting centers can be built here. In this regard, he will soon discuss with the concerned officers. On this occasion, District General Secretary Banshidhar Srivas, Mahesh Bhaiya, outgoing city president Rajesh Litoria, office minister Sandeep Bundela, media in-charge Devendra Guru, Chandrabhan Rai, Vijay Kuatala, Jairam Singh Lodhi Rakhpanchampur, Dalli Jain Chuna etc. were present.
