Mitchell Santner’s tremendous flying screamer at square leg during New Zealand vs AFG clash

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has left no stone unturned to entertain lovers within the ongoing week as cricket lovers were handled to many memorable moments during the last few days. During the sixteenth fit of the match being performed between New Zealand and Afghanistan at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday, October 18, lovers have been handled to any other sensational second at the box when Mitchell Santner took a panoramic catch in the second one innings.

The incident passed off within the 14th over of the innings when Lockie Ferguson bowled a brief ball to Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi. The left-handed batsman pulled the ball within the air which used to be heading in opposition to square leg. Santner, who used to be within the 30-yard circle, ran backwards to catch the ball. The left-arm spinner jumped to his complete peak and dived utterly to finish a panoramic one-handed catch.

The unbelievable effort even shocked former England cricketer became commentator Michael Atherton, who praised the Kiwi fielder.
