Warning To Two Shopkeepers Of Fertilizers For Lack Of Investigation

To prevent black marketing of fertilizers in the district, a joint team of the administration and agriculture department conducted raids on fertilizer shops on Sunday and investigated. During this, 17 shops of fertilizers were checked. Meanwhile, the shopkeepers concerned were warned if they found shortage in two shops in the investigation. The team also took 11 samples of manure during the investigation. Paddy crop has been planted in the district. Farmers are buying manure for topdressing in paddy crop. In view of the farmers getting the fertilizers at the fixed price, the DM had formed a joint team of the administration and the Agriculture Department and directed the investigation by conducting raids. In order to which District Agriculture Officer KK Singh constituted three teams. One team was formed by Deputy Agriculture Director Jaiprakash along with SDM Sadar and Kerakat, the second team with District Agriculture Officer, SDM Machlishahar and Badlapur and the third team was formed by SDM Madiyahu including Land Conservation Officer. All the teams conducted raids on fertilizer shops in their respective areas and investigated. Due to which there is a stir among the fertilizer sellers. District Agriculture Officer KK Singh says that on the instructions of the government and the DM, raids were conducted on the shops of fertilizers and investigated. During this, a total of 17 shops were investigated. Out of which two shops were reprimanded for lacking and warned. Simultaneously 11 samples were taken.
