War eats open beds in CHC
Nawabganj. The beds that were put on the roof to be painted three months ago are rusting in the rain today. There is no one to take care of them. Other systems are in bad shape too. In the second corona wave, preparations were made to build the Nawabganj CHC L-2 hospital. When the Korana came under control, those responsible became negligent.
During the second corona wave, from April to May, there was such an influx of infected people that the hospitals came up short. Then the then CMO began preparations for the construction of an L-2 hospital with 100 beds in Nawabganj CHC. The district judge and CDO had also given instructions to complete the system after the inspection. The preparations were vigorous and it was also canceled by adding the old beds already in the hospital to the ceiling.
When the preparations in the hospital were completed, the corona crisis was under control. Because of this, those in charge did not understand the need to take CHC L-2 to the hospital. After that, the situation is such that the beds attached to the ceiling for painting have not been removed even after more than three months.
These days they get drenched and rustle from the rain. The toilet is dirty, the sink is broken too. The ladies’ room is locked. The pots are dry and broken due to lack of water.
Shortage of staff
Eight doctor positions will be created in CHC for the positions of radiologist, orthopedist, pediatrician, general surgeon, two doctors, one senior doctor and one doctor. In comparison, only three doctors come. Instead of seven nurses, only two work. If you look at the precautions, the syringe has not been in the hospital for delivery in the last eight days.
CHC will no longer be made an L-2 hospital. The doctor stationed in the hospital never comes because she is the daughter of the MLA. There is no information about beds on the terrace outside. All hospital arrangements will be corrected in a week – Dr. Abhijeet, responsible superintendent
