Pilibhit. In view of the risk of the third corona wave, the report of the sero survey carried out was not received from the laboratory even after a month. For this reason, it is not yet known what the antibody status of the population of the district is.
In the second wave of corona infections, 6,500 were infected. 283 people died. After that, the health department put more emphasis on vaccinations and insisted on sampling. After that, the government decided to conduct a sero survey in each district of the state to detect antibodies. To this end, the government sent a list of 25 villages and 6 districts. The department took blood samples from 745 people in three days from June 9-11, using 18 teams. Children under the age of 18, people who had received a corona vaccination, people who were affected by a corona infection, and general people were included in the survey. The sample was sent to the Meerut laboratory. It has been more than a month since the test report was sent, but the laboratory test report has not yet been made available to the health department.
