Rajapur/Mau (Chitrakoot). Due to floods in Yamuna and Payaswani rivers in Rajapur area, the affected people are forced to spend the night on the roads. Waiting for the flood to subside. Water has started entering the kutcha houses due to more floods near the affected villages of Arki, Surdhua, Kuseli, Khompa, Barua villages of Rajapur area. Due to which the villagers are forced to sit by camping on the side of the roads. Many flood victims have been accommodated in upper primary schools. Sardhuva power feeder has been closed due to flood in Yamuna river. Due to which the power supply of villages like Sardhua, Arki, Bilas, Chandi, Tirdhumai, Gangu, Dhauraha, Naini, Gurgaula, Bihrawa, Bakta, Dewari, Surwal, Hasta, Khopa, Bhadehdu etc. is closed. Mau demanded to build a pucca house. The kutcha houses have collapsed in the flood-hit village Mavai Kala village. In which Bhola Pasi, Hublal, Maiyadin, Bablu, Raidas, Rajaram, Shivdas, Gullu, Ramdas, Kali Nishad, Sammarva Pasi of the village told that their kutcha house has collapsed due to flood.
