Vice Chancellor Honored Eight Teachers Of The East University Campus

On Friday in the Vice Chancellor’s Auditorium of Purvanchal University in Jaunpur, Vice Chancellor Prof. Nirmala S Maurya, Professor of Biotechnology Department of the University Campus. Vandana Rai was honored by ‘Teacher Shri’ and University Grants Commission, Government of India for getting Startup Grant to seven teachers. He said that Prof. The honor of the university has increased with Vandana Rai getting ‘Teacher Shri’.
This honor is due to his dedication and penance. He congratulated the young teachers on getting the grant, and asked them to play an important role in quality research. He said that the teachers of the university continued to send projects for research in various institutes of the country. The university will cooperate with them at every level.
Along with this, seven teachers of the university campus were honored by the University Grants Commission for getting Startup Grant. 145 teachers in the country have received start up grants this year. Purvanchal University has the largest number of teachers in the grant list among the state universities of the whole country. Under this, each teacher has got a research grant of ten lakh rupees each.

Dr. Manish Pratap Singh of Physics Department of Engineering Institute, Prof. Dr. Nitesh Jaiswal, Dr. Mithilesh Yadav of Department of Chemistry, Rajendra Singh Institute of Physics Studies and Research, Dr. Alok Verma of Physics Department, Dr. Shravan Kumar of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Dr. Sujit Kumar of Nanoscience and Technology Center Chaurasia, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Choudhary of Renewable Energy Center.
