Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the makers of Baawal, reportedly decided to postpone the release. The decision has been made taking into account the VFX and the technical requirements. According to a source, the filmmakers are quite ambitious regarding Baawal’s on-screen performance and opted to release the film at a later date once it is properly prepared. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film was shot in Poland using special techniques. The director confirmed the same and the team decided to postpone its release to maintain the quality of the film. Explaining why he needed more time, Nitish said that he wanted to master the visuals in some scenes and it was taking time. His goal is to bring the best version of his vision to his viewers, so they don’t want to cut anything. Baawal was filmed extensively in India and in international locations such as Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, and Krakow. The film was scheduled to open on April 7, 2023, but will now have a new release date. The creators have yet to announce the new date, but it is expected to hit screens later this year. Baawal stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
