Varanasi Ganga Water Level: Due To Increasing Water Level Water Entered Houses Across Varuna River In Varansi

After the fall in the water level in Varanasi 24 hours ago, the Ganga has started in spate. Due to the rising water level of the Ganges, water has entered the houses in the coastal areas due to the reverse flow in Varuna. Some people have taken shelter on the first floor, while others have started migrating to higher places. According to the Central Water Commission, the water level of Ganga was recorded at 68.47 meters at 8 pm.
The water level in the Ganges started rising from Thursday morning. The water level of Ganga was recorded at 67.81 meters at 8 am due to increase in the water level of Ganga at the speed of 6 cm per hour. From noon onwards, the water level of the Ganges started rising at a speed of seven centimeters per hour and at eight o’clock in the night, the water level of the Ganges reached 68.47 meters.
