Varanasi Flood Victims Staying In Relief Camps Leave Home Medicine And Food Problem Due To Incomplete Preparations Of Administration

In Varanasi, more than half a dozen flood relief camps are getting hi-fi system, while some victims are not getting proper food and medicine. A similar situation was seen in Saraiya area. People living in the flood relief camp along the banks of the old bridge and the Varuna river have been taking shelter since August 6.
A relief camp has been set up at Gopi Radha Balika Inter College, Goenka Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Ravindrapuri for the people living in the surrounding areas including Assi, Lanka, Durgakund. At present, seven families are living in a relief camp at Goenka Sanskrit Vidyalaya. Four families are living together in a one-room relief camp of the school. So, even the mattress has not been provided to the families living in the relief camp built in the under-construction building of the complex. See next slides…
