There were preparations for the vaccination at more than 425 stands. The goal was to vaccinate about 14 lakh people in one month. Cluster vaccination was now carried out at some stands four to five days a week, but this was discontinued due to a lack of vaccines. This has happened many times.
The district vaccination officer Dr. Praveen Gautam said the state had received 24,000 doses of Coveshield for the district over the next three days. Due to fewer vaccines, only 68 static booths are vaccinated. The cluster vaccination was postponed for the next three days.
He said many complaints from beneficiaries had reached the government level. There is a need for online vaccinations here. With this in mind, the plan is to give 50 percent of the first dose and 50 percent of the booster dose. In addition, 50 percent online and 50 percent on-site dosing were set.
