Cyclist dies in a traffic accident
Turkpatti (Kushinagar). Two teenagers riding bicycles were seriously injured when a mini-truck collided with a mini-truck near the Khardar Bridge on the Turkpatti-Kasaya road of the police station. The relatives who came with the information took them to Gorakhpur for treatment that one died on the way. The condition of the other should also be serious.
Pankaj (19) and Barup (32), residents of the village of Rudvaliya in the Turkpatti police station, returned home from Kasaya late Monday evening. He had just reached the Khardar Bridge, where he was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding mini-truck from the Turkpatti side. After the accident, the driver fled in the mini truck. The relatives who obtained the information took the two injured teenagers to the district hospital, where the doctor referred them to Gorakhpur Medical College after determining their critical condition after initial treatment. These people had just gotten Pankaj to die near Hata while the other was being treated at the medical college. Upon receiving information, the police at the Turkpatti Police Station made a panchnama of the body and sent it for an autopsy.
The responsible SO Ram Sahai Yadav said that the youth’s body was taken for an autopsy. Legal action will be taken upon receipt of the complaint.
Had there been a trauma center, the young man’s life would have been saved

He could not be treated in time because of the distance of about 100 kilometers from the place to the district hospital and then to the medical college. For this reason, as soon as he reached Hata, he died. People from the region like Jaiprakash Mishra, Anil Kumar Nirmal, Ramashish Yadav etc. demanded that the state government immediately take the initiative to set up a trauma center in the region so that their lives are injured by prompt treatment of those injured in the traffic accident.
