Uppsc: More than half left the first stage after the second wave Left

After the second corona wave, more than half of the candidates left the first exam of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). Candidates’ participation in the selection test held in Lucknow on Sunday for the recruitment of 25 Unani Medical Officer positions was only 43.98 percent. During the second wave of corona, the commission had to postpone many recruitment exams. This included the Unani Medical Officer’s screening test. After the second wave, the commission released a revised recruitment test calendar, with the first proposed on July 25th. 2053 candidates had applied for the 24 Unani Medical Officer positions, but of those only 903 candidates signed up. Applications for this position were received in November 2018. It took two and a half years to pass the exam.

The exam lasted two hours and was conducted in one session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The test asked 150 multiple-choice questions of the objective type. A minus marking could also be used in the screening test. The question paper consisted of two parts. The first part consisted of General Studies with 30 objective questions and the second part consisted of 120 objective questions on the subject prescribed for the position of Unani Medical Officer. On the basis of a selection test, the candidates are invited to an interview and then the final selection result is published.
