A few days ago, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) published the pre-employment exams calendar proposing 14 pre-employment exams to be held from July 2020 to April 2021. The recruitment checks included in the calendar are carried out on their own schedule, but recruitment is not limited to this. Because of Kovid, the commission had to postpone all of its proposed recruitment exams from April to June. During this time, direct recruitment could not even be started and the recruiting work in the commission came to a complete standstill. The circumstances surrounding Kovid have returned to normal and work in the Commission has also picked up speed.

Within a month, the Commission started hiring three people and the application process for all of these hires is also ongoing. There are two direct line-ups in these. At the same time, the recruitment process for 124 teaching positions at the Rajkiya Ashram system schools has also started, for which applications are being accepted. This setting is carried out through a preliminary and main test. The call for tenders for this recruitment was published on June 18 and is not on the Commission’s calendar. After the lockdown, the Commission published the first direct job posting on May 28, searching for applications for 3,620 positions, of which 600 are pediatricians.
