The work is supposed to be carried out by the Public Works Office, the second section, but the construction of the bridge has not started for a long time due to the non-issued NOC of the Forestry Office. The construction work should be completed by December 31 of this year. Under engineer Pramod Chaudhary said the file of the bridge building was stuck in the forestry department. The construction work on the bridge could not begin due to the lack of a NOC. Construction work on the bridge will begin after the NOC has entered.
In the Chatra block, the PHC should be upgraded and the CHC formed. The construction work was started in 2009 by Uttar Pradesh Nirman Nigam. Work stopped in 011. After five years, the Divisional Commissioner requested a report after investigation and in April 2018 a case was initiated against the then executive engineer and the contractor for irregularities in the construction work. Since then, the construction work has been stopped. With the establishment of CHC, the citizens of about 150 villages with revenues of 60 grams of Panchayats would receive health facilities. Construction work on a new bridge over the Bakhar River on the border between Sonbhadra and Mirzapur in the village of Dhurkari in the Ghoraval Tehsil area has been closed for about four years. The construction of this bridge with a budget of Rs 217.23 lakh under the SP government could not be completed even after the deadline. As a first installment for the construction of a small bridge over the river, an amount of Rs 54 lakh was approved by the government. Construction of the new bridge began and five piers were built. Construction of 445 houses began under the IHSDP scheme in 2011 in the Duddhi Nagar Panchayat area. The agency C&DS should complete this by March 31, 2014. But even after seven years of construction, the building of the house could not be completed. DUDA officer Rajesh Upadhyay said 96 percent of the work was done. The construction work on the rest of the houses will be completed shortly.
