Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said on Twitter that Russian forces on Tuesday opened fire on an evacuation route for stranded civilians in the besieged city of Mariupol in violation of a ceasefire agreement.

“8 trucks 30 buses ready to deliver humanitarian aid to Mariupol and ready to evacuate (evacuate) civilians from Zaporizhzhya. Russia must be under increased pressure to keep its commitments,” he said.
