As a result, the power supply for almost the entire village came to a standstill. For this reason the village sinks into darkness in the evening. At the same time, the villagers have problems with the scorching heat. Despite the information, the department heads and employees are indifferent. There is deep resentment against the electricity bureau among the villagers.
Almost the entire village is supplied with electricity via two power transformers of 63 and 25 KVA installed in the village. Five days ago, both transformers burned out due to a technical defect, making the village dark. The villagers gave this information along with the toll-free number to the Electricity Department officials, but the transformers were not changed. Village leaders Jaishankar Singh, Janardan Singh and Dhananjay Upadhyay say that CM Yogi Adityanath’s order to replace the burned transformers within 48 hours does not affect the department staff. Even after five days, the burned-out transformers were not replaced. This raises questions about the government’s intentions. Kripa Singh, Kashinath Singh, Pappu Singh, Vinod Singh, Vikas Singh, Santosh of the village caught the district judge’s attention and demanded that the burned transformers be replaced immediately.
