Various items for the cleaning system are purchased for around 1.71 rupees. At the same time, around 30.50 lakh sanitation methods are used to clean the drains. This means that the sewage system does not fall into the Ganges until it has been cleared. Work is ongoing on behalf of the municipality for the development of the city. With the construction of drains and roads, work is being done to strengthen the city’s cleanliness system. 200 handcarts are bought through tenders from the community at a price of 16 rupees. Which is used to collect rubbish from the streets. Apart from that, 62 containers with different capacities will be bought at a price of 77.29 rupees. Along with this, backco loaders are purchased for Rs. 28.75 lakhs, mini tractors for Rs. 12 lakhs, a dump truck for Rs. 32.50 lakhs and two garbage trucks for Rs. 5 lakhs. Apart from that, the cleaning of the Chaturbhupur and Chandasi-Mahmudpur drains in the city will be done by a bioremediation method that will cost about thirty lakh fifty thousand rupees. It is expected that this will strengthen the city’s plumbing system.
