Two Cow Shelter Centers Will Be Built With 2.40 Crores

Rae Bareli. To give shelter to stray cattle, two more large cow shelter centers will be built at a cost of 2.40 crores. At present, about 10 thousand cows have got shelter in 49 centers operating.
More than two thousand more cows will get shelter after the completion of nine temporary centers under construction including two major ones. However, stray cattle are increasing continuously in the district. Due to this farmers are facing problems.
These days, farmers have to stay awake at night to save the paddy crops due to the stray roaming of cows. People are facing problems due to lack of adequate cow shelter centers in the district.
However, at present 49 permanent and temporary cow shelter centers are operating in the district. More than 10 thousand cows have been given shelter at these centers, but more cows are still roaming around. Adequate arrangements have not yet been made to protect the cows.
The district has got two more mega cow shelter centers to solve the problem. The work of construction of cow protection centers has been started at Bawan Buzurg Balla of Maharajganj block and Vinayakpur of Bachhrawan area at a cost of Rs 2.40 crore. After the completion of these centers, about one thousand cows will get protection.
Apart from this, temporary cow shelter centers at Kanauli, Anguri, Narethua, Amba, Kanha Upvan, Salon, Nasirabad, Unchahar will be ready soon. After the formation of these centers, more than two thousand more cows will get shelter.
CVO Dr. Gajendra Pratap Singh informed that the district has got two more large cow shelter centers. Work on cow shelter sites costing 2.40 crore has also been started. The big shelter center of Sehango Paschimgaon is ready. Soon the work of giving shelter to the cows will start here too.
