Gauriganj (Amethi). On Saturday, two candidates submitted their nominations for the office of district president of Panchayat.
Many party leaders, including the minister, participated in the nomination of the BJP-supported candidate, while the SP candidate was accompanied by her MLA husband and party district president. On Saturday, two candidates for the Panchayat District President filed their forms in the District Court room of the Collectorate. SP-supported candidate Sheelam Singh reached the nomination room first, along with her MLA husband Rakesh Pratap Singh and party district president Ram Udit Yadav, and submitted the form in three sentences.
Then the BJP-supported candidate Rajesh Agrahari reached the collectors together with Lavlashkar to submit a nomination. Rajesh submitted his nomination in two sentences. Several leading figures participated in Rajesh’s nomination, including Minister of State Suresh Pasi, Tiloi MLA Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Amethi MLA Garima Singh and PRO Vijay Gupta from Smriti Irani.
DDC Dharmendra Kumar, who bought the papers, did not submit his nomination papers on Saturday. Dharmendra has become a proponent in a brochure by SP candidate Sheelam Singh. District Returning Officer Arun Kumar took the nomination papers from all candidates, had them signed in front of him and submitted them.
