Rhea Sharma talks about her role of ‘Kashibai Bajirao Ballal’

Zee TV’s Kashibai Bajirao Ballal is receiving a lot of love from the audience for her amazing performance and story. The show is based on the story of Kashibai who was one of the greatest women of the Maratha Empire. Now the show is slated for a big leap where We will see an adult Kashibai and Bajirao.

Actress Rhea Sharma has been roped in to play the role of Kashibai, while actor Rohit Chandel will play the grown-up Bajirao.

Rhea spoke about it in a recent interview with India Forums and shared, “I have always wanted to take on a unique and challenging character and I am lucky that I got the same with Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. I watched the show. And Aarohi and Venkatesh have done a great job. From where they left off, I find myself soaking in the inherent warmth of character, the benevolence and righteousness and love for my people, for which Kashibai stood. I am nervous and Also excited to see how people react to me as Kashi.”

Rohit also added to the conversation and shared, “I am grateful to be a part of a grand historical show like Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. Venkatesh plays the young Bajirao with all the enthusiasm and intensity required for the role and I hope to do full justice to the character and the show. For this, I am working on my characterization, physical training and my overall look, body language and gestures.

Post the leap, viewers will see Peshwa Bajirao evolve into an ambitious manned mission, with a focus on winning wars and expanding the Maratha Empire. On the other hand, Kashibai will emerge as an administrator who is loved by all.
