Namish Taneja talks about his rap song ‘Kya Kar Raha Hai Tu’; He says “Divya and Emiway Bantai inspired me a lot and I said yes, even I can try this.”

Actor Namish Taneja is currently enjoying the success of his debut rap song “Kya Kar Raha Hai” which was recently released on YouTube. The song is having a very good response from the public.

Namish recently talked about it during an interview and shared what inspired him to rap. He said, “Divya and Emiway Bantai. Yes, I definitely like Divine. He has reached a special place in India through his rapping. I love emway bantai. I love his raps. There is humor in his songs. Divine and Emiway Bantai have inspired me a lot and I said yes, even I can try.”

He continued, “I don’t think people look at me as a rapper because I haven’t sung it, I just talked about it. I haven’t done anything like the ‘yo-yo’ that a rapper usually does. I haven’t abused her in any way. I’ve tried to keep it natural. So rapping is really my act. I’m pretty sure people will love it and if I get a good response I’ll take it forward, but I don’t think I’ll be able to break into it as a rapper. This is because because I’ve tried to keep it natural and I’ve done it in a subtle way. And if everything becomes a genre and if people find something unique in it and there’s no jargon in it, maybe I’ll be the new voice. And if people accept it, maybe I will sing in the near future.
