Mridula Oberoi talks about her comeback in Yeh Hai Chahatein

Mridula Oberoi, who currently looks like Nimmi Agarwal in Apnapan – Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan, is set to return in Yeh Hai Chahatein (YHC) after a break of almost a year. The actress will play the character of a policeman, Saachi Chautala, in YHC.

The actress talked about the contrast in their characters during a recent interview, sharing, “Nimmi is drama, while Saatchi is smart, neat, and mean. Nimmi is gray but with a comic element. On the other hand, Saatchi will turn negative upon her return. ,

Speaking about filming two shows together, he said, “It’s challenging, especially when the two characters are different from each other. But many people do this. In fact, I’ve always wanted to balance the two shows. I’m lucky that both shows are from the same production company, so dates are easily managed. The production team has done very well. This is the trip that catches me. Although I have to go to Naigaon to film for YHC, the Apnapan set is in Powai. But that’s what I wanted: to commit and I want more.”

Mridula, who briefly played the positive tone as Saachi Chautala, enjoys playing bad roles. He said, “Most of my characters have been negative. I love to play shadows because I’m quite emotional in real life. I look nothing like the characters I play on TV. So it’s challenging and exhausting at times, but I’ve learned the trick of hitting the right note. When I’m in front of the camera, I put my feelings aside (smiles).
