Kaamna fame Chandni Sharma talks about her role as Akanksha; Says, “I am glad that I got a chance to play a character with multiple layers”

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Kamna Jahan Hoga Khwaishon Aur Usoolon Ka Aamna Saamna is based on the battle between the principles and desires of a married couple. The show is based on the story of Manav and Akanksha, a middle-class couple with different ideologies.

Actress Chandni Sharma, who plays the role of Akanksha in the show, is receiving a lot of appreciation and love for her performance in the show.

Talking about it in a recent interview, the actress said, “Playing the character of Akanksha has been one of the challenging experiences as her character has seen a lot of change from the beginning of the show. She is not a negative character, rather she is just a woman with big dreams and gets carried away by the worldly pleasures of life which compel her to act without thinking about the repercussions that come with it. Even after all this, she is still that loving mother who genuinely cares for her son and does everything possible to get him back. I might not always agree to play Akanksha but I am glad that I got to play a layered character as it has helped me understand the various nuances of acting as an actor. Audiences may find Akanksha’s character unfair but if they are doing it, it means I am doing justice to my character and that gives me immense pleasure.”

He continued, “When an actor gets into the skin of his character, he starts to relate to the character and even to the characters around him. So, sometimes when you have to do a scene like this What happens is intense, then it is emotionally exhausting and challenging, at least for me. As an actor, I believe it is important to put aside my personal prejudices and feelings, and the story It is necessary to stick to it.”
