Harsh Rajput talks about his prep for his role in Pishachini; says, “I had to put on weight but it did not mean eating mithai and samosas”

Harsh Rajput who was last seen in Kuch Toh Hai is set to play the lead role in Pishachini. The actor has been paired with Nyra Banerjee, who plays the lead role of Pischachini on the show. Harsh opened up about this during a recent interview with BT, sharing, “Naira and I are friends from the gym. This is our first show together. We live in the same area and work out together at the gym.”

Harsh also shared that he had to gain 15 pounds for his role. He said, “This role required him to gain muscle mass, so he worked out for three hours at the gym and ate about 1kg of rice a day. But, gaining weight does not mean that you eat sweets, samosas and anything else. Even when you want to gain weight, it’s important to eat right. It was about gaining muscle and looking a little bigger for the show. ,

Speaking about being typecast in the genre, Harsh said: “The genre may be similar but my roles are different. I play the role of a boy from a normal family in Pishachini, while I play a fictional character in Nazar Mein. So it is quite different from the previous one. shows The stories are different. I enjoy doing adventure shows like Janbaaz Sindbad and Pischachini because filming for a fantasy/fiction show is very different from a normal show, where you’re just standing there and speaking the lines. Here, you’re doing heavy stunts, and usually a scene in a fiction show ends in one take, but because of the graphics in a fantasy show, you need 2 or 3 takes. ,
