Channa Mereya fame Niyati Fatnani condemns alleged cruelty to elephant Joymala
Channa Mereya actress Niyati Fatnani recently expressed her opinion against animal cruelty. She shared a video in which an elephant named Joymala, now known as Jayamalyatha, was allegedly abused in Tamil Nadu.
Niyati condemned the cruelty against Joymala, writing: “When I first saw the video of the brutal mistreatment of the elephants, I was in shock and pain. I can’t even imagine how people can dare to hurt innocent souls. On one hand we are celebrating Ganesh Utsav and on the other hand cruel people are misbehaving towards the elephant which is part of Lord Ganesha. It is brutal beyond measure. It’s not human to hurt anyone. I demand that this inhumane act be dealt with severely.”
He said: “These brutal cases of animal abuse are not new as they happen daily in our society. In the year 2020, a pregnant elephant died in Kerala after eating a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers. We must unite and raise our voice against this cruelty.”
On the labor front, Niyati Fatnani’s Channa Mereya show recently completed 50 episodes. The actress is winning hearts with her performance in Channa Mereya. The actress is also known for her roles in shows like Nazar, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, and D4-Get Up and Dance. She also appeared in the sitcom Hotstar Aashiqana produced by Gul Khan. among others.
