Trevor indicated that, after the pandemic, being able to do standup would make him want to return to that career.

“When I got back there, I realized that there was another part of my life that I wanted to explore. I miss learning other languages. I miss going to other countries and doing shows. I miss being everywhere, doing everything, and I’m so grateful to every single person that’s here, even the people that aren’t here right now, because they did great things that helped us make this work,” he said.

Trevor’s announcement garnered a standing ovation from the studio audience.

After seeing his video statement, netizens thanked him for making them laugh for years.

One social media user tweeted: “Thank you Noah. I’ll miss you.”

“The daily schedule will not be the same,” wrote another on Twitter.
