Lalitpur. Kotwali police caught six defendants after betting a loss in Mohalla Pisnari Bagh on Saturday night and took further action by filing a complaint against them.
Sub-inspector Arvind Kumar, stationed in Kotwali, told the Kotwali police that they had received information at 9:10 p.m. on July 3 that Mohalla Pisnari had been attacked while some people were throwing cards. On which they besieged with the police team and caught them. During the search, 2,480 rupees and 52 Malphad playing cards were found from his possession. At the same time, when the defendant was searched, 1520 rupees were seized from them. During interrogation they gave their names Anand, Gaurav, residents of Mohalla Hardila, Arvind, Rajendra, Jagdish and Santosh, residents of Mohalla Pisnari. The Kotwali Police Department has filed a case against all defendants under the Gambling Act.
