Chandusi. On Friday at 12:30 p.m., a fire suddenly broke out in the transformer installed by the roadside at the Vikas Nagar intersection on Bahjoi Road. Soon the transformer started burning with smoke. Because of this, there was chaos at the intersection of Vikas Nagar. Then some people informed the fire department. As soon as the information arrived, the fire brigade reached the point and was able to bring the fire in the transformer under control. The personnel of the traffic police reached the place and the traffic system was stopped until the fire was extinguished. As a result, the fire brigade continued its work, after the fire was brought under control, the traffic system was restored. A resident of Vikas Nagar said that 20 days ago a fire broke out in the transformer in the same way. As a result, the power grid was interrupted for five hours.
Around 400 houses are covered by this transformer. They have a population of around two thousand. The power supply in this area was interrupted after the fire. A complaint has been filed with the Electricity Authority. But the officers shrugged and said there was no transformer. Villagers complained online to the energy minister. Then the officers ran in the direction of Moradabad to get the transformer. People are in bad shape because of the heat. The transformer will likely be replaced during the night.
