A pond has formed here because water was poured into pits one to one and a half feet deep in front of the gas pump near PAC on Ramghat Road. In which two-wheelers sway and four-wheelers also hesitate. Due to a lack of understanding of the depth of the pits, the situation worsens in the dark. Every time a large vehicle overturns here, a serious accident can occur. This has been the situation here for the past two months. Despite repeated complaints, the PWD and the Aligarh Development Authority have not yet taken any concrete action. This is the situation when District Judge Chandra Bhushan Singh himself transferred responsibility for solving this problem to the ADA at the meeting of the last Udyog Bandhu.
At this point the water fills up due to the high space on either side in the middle of the street. Rainwater also collects there. Because of this, the deep pits are not visible. The PWD has started to temporarily fill the pit here by laying bricks, but these bricks are becoming an obstacle in the path of vehicles. Small vehicles wobble here and there due to these stones, which has increased the risk of falling. That’s why there is a traffic jam here for two days. There was a traffic jam here from Sunday to Monday evening. The police haven’t even shown up since then. As a result, a line of vehicles about a kilometer long remained standing all day. In this regard, after discussions with officials from PWD and the Aligarh Development Authority, it was found that no work had yet started as the budget had not been received.

Ramghat Road, one of the busiest and most important roads in the district, also connects Uttarakhand, Bareilly and Moradabad. In order to overcome the waterlogging problem in front of the PAC gas station on Ramghat Road, a proposal of about 4.5 billion rupees has been presented to the government. Work will begin as soon as the budget is approved. In order to create temporary drainage on both sides of this road, the work will be carried out on Tuesday through the installation of JCB. So that no water fills up and people can be saved from waterlogging. Bricks were laid here, but the problem has worsened due to the increase in the amount of water caused by rain.
