Toppers’ Pride Path Made In Paper Only


The proposal to make the family proud by building a Gaurav Path to the homes of the toppers of the board examinations has remained buried in the files. Even after the passage of two years, a pucca connectivity road has not been made till the topper Gaurav’s house. The people of the house and village are still waiting for the announcement of the government to take shape. With the passage of time, their hopes have also started to crumble. In order to boost the morale of the students of the state, the state government had announced Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Gaurav Path Yojana. Under this scheme, a road was to be constructed in the district to the homes of the top students in the high school and intermediate examinations. The road has not yet been built in the village of Gaurav Singh, the top student in the district in the year 2019. The father of Gaurav Singh, resident of Prabhapuram Colony of Pusauli village, adjacent to the district headquarter Robertsganj, is a railway employee who is working in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar. Gaurav was a student of Sunbeam School, Mughalsarai. Due to being the ancestral village in Sonbhadra, 0.70 km road was to be constructed till the house of student Gaurav Singh in his village Pusauli, but even after the passage of two years, the road could not be constructed.
