IPL 2022 is in full swing with all the 10 participating teams trying to outdo each other in a grueling two-month tournament. Apart from the team performance, the individual performances i.e. Orange Cap and Purple Cap races have also heated up with the 15th edition of the cash-rich event going ahead.

Meanwhile, many batsmen have been making an impact for 22 yards with their exceptional talent and power-hitting abilities since the tournament’s inception in 2008. However, it is his six hitting skills that stand out the most against quality bowlers. Which helped them to make their mark. These big hitters include the legendary players of West Indies. During the IPL 2022 clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans, an interesting statistic revealed that some of the batsmen successfully hit sixes in a row. Stats showed the guys who were the fastest to hit 100 max in terms of balls taken, since they started playing in the IPL. It should be noted that the list also includes some batsmen who have played in the tournament since 2008 such as Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj Singh and Shane Watson.

The top two spots are occupied by the Caribbean duo of Andre Russell and Chris Gayle, which is hardly a surprise. Star India all-rounder and captain of Gujarat Titans Hardik Pandya Climbed to the third spot on the list after hitting his 100th six in the game against SRH on 11 April. Kieron Pollard and Glenn Maxwell are ranked fourth and fifth respectively.

Other active players who have been featured in this category are India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and his English counterpart Jos Buttler. While none of the Indian players managed to grab the top spot, what really stood out here is that four of them, including two legends, are no longer in the scheme of things with regards to the IPL. has received an honorable mention.
