The toll tax is levied by the construction company VIL, which builds the motorway. The contract was signed with the company under the Built Operate Transfer System until November 2028. Then NHI takes over the toll station.
Vehicles coming from villages within 20 km of the toll booth are exempt from the toll. These drivers do not have to pay tolls every day. NHAI has provided monthly passes for this purpose.
This pass is issued directly at the toll station. When creating the passport, the company checks the registration of the vehicles that come into the range. Then the passport will be issued. In it, preparations are made to distribute around 150 late monthly tickets to small four-wheelers. This information will shortly be posted at the toll booth.
Village chiefs demanded free of charge
