The Tokyo Paralympics begins today. The matches will start in Tokyo on August 25. During this, five players from western Uttar Pradesh will present their claim for the medal. Eight players from UP may have missed out on medals in the Tokyo Olympics, but the spirits of para players are high.Gautam Budh Nagar DM Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj Badminton, Vivek Chikara Archery of Meerut, Jyoti Baliyan Archery of Muzaffarnagar, Praveen Kumar Athletics resident of Govindgarh, Noida, Deepender Singh of Sambhal will present the challenge in shooting. On August 27, Vivek Chikara of Meerut and Jyoti Balian of Muzaffarnagar will enter the ground. Sambhal’s para shooter Dipendra will participate in the Paralympics on August 31, Gautam Budh Nagar DM Suhas in the Yathiraj badminton event on September 2 and Praveen Kumar in Noida’s High Jump on September 3.
