Today is Sawan’s first Monday which started with Sunday. Jalabhishek started at 12 noon in the great temples of the city. The pagoda echoed with the cheers of Har Har Mahadev and Bam Bam Bhole. A limited number of believers were allowed into the temples. At the same time, the circumnavigation of the Akhaleshwar temple was stopped for safety reasons.
Sawan started on Sunday after Guru Purnima on Saturday. Today is Sawan’s first Monday, and preparations in the city’s main temples continued through Sunday evening. A limited number of entry and exit agreements have been made in accordance with administrative instructions. Sevadars were stationed at Khereshwar Temple on Sunday. Surveillance cameras were operated at the same time. The committee also made elaborate arrangements at the Mangaleshwar Mahadev Temple in Jaiganj.
