Today a blood donation camp is being organized in the district hospital

Sultanpur. As part of its social cause, the Amar Ujala Foundation organized a blood donation camp in the blood bank of the district hospital on July 26th. As organized last year, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, blood will be donated in this camp to pay homage to the martyrs and soldiers posted on the border of the country.
Working with the Ankuran Foundation, Azad Samaj Seva Samiti, and the National Unity Foundation, the blood bank team will donate blood to the district hospital’s blood bank from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday. In doing so, the Amar Ujala Foundation also honors those who become great donors by donating blood by giving them certificates. The corona protocol is fully followed in the camp.

The head of the district hospital’s blood bank, Dr. RK Mishra, appealed to all healthy people to donate blood in honor of the soldiers. Any healthy person aged 18 to 65 can donate blood. Said your one unit of blood can save the lives of four people in need. Be sure to wear a mask. Blood can be donated 14 days after the vaccination (1st or 2nd dose).
