Adam McKay, a great RRR The fan was excited for the movie in a separate tweet, writing, “Honestly if you haven’t seen it RRR Tonight will be an amazing first look. I can show up with a live tiger in a tuxedo.” His tweet was referring to the big scene just before the interval.

RRR, set in the 1920s, is a “fictional story based on two great freedom fighters: Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem”. It boasts of an impressive cast that included Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the leading roles. It also starred Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson. The film received largely positive reviews from film critics and of course received an overwhelming response from audiences in India and across the world. The film is scheduled to open in Japan in October this year.

RRR SS Rajamouli’s first project after the 2017 blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which was also a great success. The film was simultaneously released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam worldwide. The film’s release dates have been postponed several times due to the pandemic and lockdown. About two months after its theatrical release, the film began streaming on Netflix. According to the OTT giant, RRR (Hindi) became the “most popular Indian movie on Netflix worldwide” in June.
