A case of theft of a Rs 40 lakh phone from a cell phone shop in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh has been reported. Ritesh Agarwal, a resident of the Mission Compound of Jhansi, has a mobile showroom called ‘VR Traders’ in front of the Municipal Corporation near Elite Square. Thieves entered the store at six a.m. on Monday morning by tilting the store’s shutters and scratching their hands on cell phones valued at around Rs 40 lakh. The incident came to light when the shopkeeper opened the shop at 10am.

Information was immediately given to the police station, whereupon the police and the forensic team arrived on site and the investigation began. The CCTV footage of the incident was secured, showing six people who executed him. It can be clearly seen in the video that the thieves first mocked the fabric in front of the store and then went inside.
